An open letter from the Ramirez family
The dental home your family has been looking for.
If you've spent years cycling through dental offices that felt like assembly lines, this letter is for you. We're a family-owned practice in Kitchener-Waterloo with 35 years of patients who keep coming back. Here's why — and what your first visit will actually look like.
Why we built this practice
My father, Dr. Everardo Ramirez, opened his first Canadian operatory in 1990 after years practicing in Tamaulipas. I joined him after dental school at NYU. Together we've watched K-W grow up around us — and we've quietly become the dentist that other dentists send their families to.
We took our time. We turned down chair-volume offers from corporate groups. We invested in 3D imaging, intra-oral scanners, and a comfort-first chair experience because that's the standard of care we'd want for our own kids.
What your first visit looks like
30–45 minutes. A real conversation, not a sales pitch. We listen first — what you like and don't like about your smile, what you've tried before, what's been holding you back.
Then a non-invasive scan, a written treatment plan with a clear price estimate, and a coffee for the road. No procedures on day one. No pressure. The plan is yours to take home and think about.
A new home for the same family practice
In late June 2026 we're opening our flagship at 100 Victoria Street South — a calm, design-led space built around how we actually want to care for patients. Same team. Same trust. New home.
From Dr. Tina:
"If you're nervous, please tell us. Half my favourite long-term patients started out terrified of the chair. We meet you where you are."
When you're ready
Book a free consultation. If we're a fit, you'll feel it within the first ten minutes. If not, no harm done — you'll leave with a written second opinion.
